My Crafts Closet

When we were renting the four bedroom house over a year ago, I had my own craft room.  I miss the room and now have been downsized to a closet.  The closet is a bit disorganized at the moment, but I have lots of materials to make new crafts.  Along with the crafts, I will be doing art for Sharon and I's first children's book.  I will be posting my crafts and art from the book on this blog as I get them done.  Also, my husband and I will be making some furniture out of refurbished items.  I have always wanted to do this and can't wait to get started.  This will combine my love for antiques and old rustic items to decorate my house.  In the near future, we will be buying a house and you better believe I will have my craft room.

The dresser was found at a yard sale.  I painted it and left the red knobs.  I will be sanding it down, painting it to match the headboard, and then sanding both to make them look old.   The chair next to it was my Grandfathers and is over 100 years old.  It is my favorite piece of furniture I own.
