San Antonio Mac and Cheese

The last time I spent a couple of nights at Sharon's, we had to go back to the SanTan Brewing Company for dinner.  The time before, she ordered the San Antonio Mac and Cheese and it was to die for.  I don't remember what I had because I was too busy snitching her dinner.  It was such a big order that two people could have shared it, so when we went back just recently, we did!  Along with the mac and cheese, I chased mine down with a Not Your Father's Root Beer.  This ale had a kick, tasty spices and was not for children.  Oh my goodness, it was good!  To finish off the meal, we shared a brown with peanut butter/powdered sugar frosting and peanut butter ice cream on top.  We were totally satisfied as we rolled ourselves out of the place with our leftover mac and cheese we had for dinner the next night.

By the way, I have made my version of the mac and cheese a couple of times.  This is what I put in my meal and it tastes just as good:

1.  brisket or pork roast
2.  mac and cheese (white cheddar)
3.  pork and beans
4.  extra cheese (regular cheddar or anything you desire instead)
5.  After you the cook the roast, shred it, and then mix it with the mac and cheese, pork and beans, extra cheese and put it in a baking pan.  Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. (I like to shoot them with spray butter afterwards to keep the bread crumbs moist.)
6.  temperature at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes
